
Patricia Crespín is a native of New Mexico. She has been involved with music and theatre since she was a very young child and although she still enjoys performance, writing has become her true passion. She has a BA in Vocal Performance from New Mexico Highlands University and an MFA in Dramatic Writing from the University of New Mexico. She has written several plays including two award winners, The Medea Complex and The Three Señorita Pigletitas y el Diablo the Wolf. Other plays include: We are Hispanic American Women…Okay?, Living Purgatory, The Hero Within, Confessions of a Hispanic American Woman and George’s Song. Her screenwriting credits include a co-written screenplay adaptation of We are Hispanic American Women…okay? and a new pilot series titled The Legend of La Llorona. She is also currently working on a new screenplay adaptation of The Medea Complex. Patricia aspires to become a voice for the people of New Mexico where the culture is rich, the people are beautiful, the land is breathtaking and the language is its own entity.
