Michael Ellis has been a member of Ka-HOOTZ Theatre Company since 2009. As an actor and director for the company, he has appeared in Any Night Live Episode 3, The Best of Any Night Live, Seven Interviews by Mark Dunn, and Wonderdog by Lou Clark. He also co-directed Seven Interviews.
As an actor Michael has appeared in Lorca in a Green Dress by Nilo Cruz at the Vortex Theatre, where he is a member of the board of directors, as well as Aurora by Leonard Madrid for the Words Afire Festival at UNM. He has directed numerous plays and staged readings. He teaches English and Drama at Menaul School.
