
Maggz Gallegos has been a member of Ka-HOOTZ Theatre Company since Fall 2008. Her time with the company has been spent stage managing, directing, writing and acting. She has been involved with shows such as Body Burden, The Politics of Hair, The 49 Sins, The True History of Coca-Cola in Mexico, Any Night Live, Seven Interviews, and most recently, The Three Senorita Pigletitas y El Diablo The Wolf. Maggz has also been involved in a couple of Words Afire Festivals at UNM. She wrote Perfecting Eva, which premiered at the NHCC in 2007, assistant directed Unravel and April Disappears Into Thin Air at Theatre X in 2008, and was cast in 2008 as Hoopiana in Parajos de mi Sangre, a play written by fellow company member, Don Garcia. Maggz absolutely loves being apart of a theatre company that strives to produce new works by living playwrights. On her spare time, she loves traveling, playing music, and spending time with family and friends.
